Victory Noll Sisters and associates responded to the invitation to celebrate the Supreme Court's ruling issued on June 18 on behalf of DACA recipients (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals).
They joined thousands of others in ringing their mission bell (or bells on their front porches) at noon today, to mark this major victory. This ruling by the Supreme Court means that hundreds of thousands of children known as "Dreamers," are now allowed to remain safe from deportation. The Court voted against President Trump's call to end the DACA program.
The challenge now is for the Senate to pass the American Dream and Promise Act, creating a path to permanent resident status for approximately 700,000 Dreamers who are and have been contributing their talents for the good of this Country.
