Sr. Ann Therese Plum, OLVM

SISTER ANN THERESE PLUM, OLVM, 98, died on December 19, 2019, at Saint Anne Community at Victory Noll, Huntington.

Sister Ann Therese was born in Aachen, Germany on June 5, 1921, to John and Mary Eva (Senden) Plum. Her parents, two brothers, Joseph and John Plum, and three sisters, Mary Karnitz, Gertrude Obernier and Josephine Schrimpf preceded sister in death. Her nieces, nephews and her Victory Noll sisters with whom she shared life and community for 73 years survive Sister Ann Therese.

Sister Ann Therese entered the Congregation of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters on November 27, 1946, and made first vows on August 5, 1949.

She was catechist and Director of Religious Education serving California, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, Utah, and her last mission was in Arizona. Sister Ann Therese also served as Congregation director of postulants, a member of the Leadership Team and as Vice President of the Congregation. She returned in 2002 to Victory Noll where she volunteered in many different areas.

A Vigil Service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2019, at Victory Noll, Archbishop Noll Memorial Chapel, 1900 W Park Drive, Huntington, IN.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 23, 2019, with calling one hour prior to the Mass from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Victory Noll Memorial Chapel

Burial will be at Victory Noll Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
