We, Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters, rooted in a Marian and missionary spirituality:

CORPORATE STATEMENT

 

Social justice issues have been part of the mission of Our Lady of Victory Missionary Sisters since our founding. Rooted in our charism to proclaim the Gospel in solidarity with all persons, we work and pray for: 

 

  • Elimination of all weapons of mass destruction — nuclear, biological and chemical; equality and justice for women and protection of children

  • Just and humane immigration policies; ecological sustainability

  • Abolition of the death penalty

  • Resolution of conflict through diplomatic and peaceful negotiations

CHARISM STATEMENT

 

The OLVM charism is a Divine gift igniting men and women to serve in solidarity with God’s people, especially those marginalized by society.
The fundamental orientation of this gift is showing compassion by working for justice and acting with simplicity and adaptability.
